Long range hunting requires a rifle capable of long range accuracy in a caliber with the terminal ballistics capable of providing clean, humane kills at the effective range of the marksman. Our Long Range Hunter rifle is designed to be well balanced, light enough to carry all day, reasonable in recoil, and extremely accurate at long range. Hunters can now take advantage of modern technology in laser range finders, ballistic computers and precision scopes that help extend the range of ethical hunting shots.
Long Range Hunter Rifle Specifications
Action: Winchester Model 70 (Remington 700 action available) Caliber: .300 Winchester Magnum, 7mm Remington Magnum, .300 Winchester Short Magnum
Post 64 Winchester Model 70, push feed action with 3 position safety that locks the bolt when in the safe position. The action is inspected, face of the action trued, bolt face trued, bolt lugs squared and lapped, factory trigger set to crisp 3lbs. The action is glass bedded and the match stainless steel barrel is free floated.
Barrel: 26” stainless steel, single point cut rifling, 1-10 twist, #3 heavy sporter contour (3.5lb). Precision chambered and threaded with target crown. This barrel will shoot heavy bullets well at long range.
Bottom metal: Hinged Floor Plate
Stock: H&S Precision Pro-Series® Sporter stock. Precisely engineered with an aluminum bedding block these stocks will maintain stability and accuracy under the worst weather conditions. Choice of standard colors. Camouflage or specialty colors available for an additional charge.
Finish: Action, barrel and bottom metal are finished with Cerakote ceramic firearms coating in color of choice.

All of our custom pistols and rifles include the Federal Excise Tax if required.
On all custom pistols and rifles we want your 100% satisfaction. As long as customer abuse has not created a problem, we will probably repair your custom pistol or rifle free of charge. If you have a problem, it’s usually ammunition related and we can help you over the phone with any concerns you might have. If you have questions, please feel free to call during office hours.
