IN STOCK and READY TO SHIP. Rifle # 278; Pilot Mountain Arms Ultralight Hunter Rifle, 7MM PRC in Black HNT26 Folding Chassis with Arca Rail. Whether you're planning a sheep hunt or just want a super light rifle for Elk hunting - This Ultralight Hunter Rifle will fit the bill.

The combination of extreme performance and ultralight weight is possible because of advancements in the firearms industry in carbon fiber technology and the use of magnesium alloys to reduce weight. With the Proof Research Carbon Fiber Barrels you get the performance of a match rifle with a barrel that is 64% lighter.

Rifle # 278 specs:

Action: Pierce titanium custom action. Right hand, integral titanium recoil lug, 4140 chrome moly spiral fluted bolt with Pierce firing pin assembly, m-16 style extractor. 0 MOA Pic rail for scope mounting.

Barrel: 24" Proof Research carbon fiber barrel, Sendero profile. Precision chambered and threaded in 7MM PRC. Muzzle has gunsmith fit and blended titanium muzzle brake. Stainless portion of the barrel is cerakoted.

Trigger: TriggerTech Special Trigger set at 2.5lbs

Chassis Stock: Black MDT HNT26 folding chassis with Arca Rail. The MDT HNT26 Chassis System is a purpose built hunting rifle chassis. This rifle stock provides you with all of the usual benefits that you expect from a chassis system such as v-block bedding, LOP and comb adjustment, AICS magazine compatibility etc, but weighs in starting at a mere 26oz.

The MDT HNT26 Chassis is constructed of a magnesium alloy rifle stock/base, with a carbon fiber forend, a carbon fiber pistol grip and a foam filled carbon fiber buttstock. With the increased number of hunters using ARCA tripods, we have included a carbon fiber forend with an integral ARCA rail.

Finish: Action: Black Nitride, Exposed steel on the barrel is finished with graphite black Cerakote ceramic firearms coating.

Rifle weight approx. 6.7lbs with magazine and scope rail.

Rifle includes a Creedmoor Sports Deluxe Scoped Rifle Case (soft case).
