BRIAN SEARCY - President/Gunsmith
Since his retirement from the Army, Brian has founded and led several successful businesses. He founded and managed Argus and Black, a management consulting firm. He cofounded TigerSwan, where he served as the President/COO for 6 years. He is a cofounder and Partner of Global Guardian, the global security and emergency response firm, and is the cofounder of Searcy Outdoor Power Plus.

 

Brian is a 23 year Army Special Operations veteran who culminated 16 years with Delta Force (1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta) as the Unit’s Operations Sergeant Major. His leadership experiences range from serving as a military advisor in Central and South America to serving as the Command Sergeant Major (senior enlisted advisor) for a 1700 person Special Operations Task Force in Iraq. He has served in hostile fire/combat zones in Central and South America, Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and the Middle East. A decorated combat leader, his military awards include the Legion of Merit and Bronze Star.

 

A competitive shooter for over 25 years, Brian has competed at the top levels of competition in both precision and action shooting. Brian is a U.S. Army Distinguished Pistol Shot and has been awarded the President’s Hundred Tab. His other marksmanship accolades include: Overall Winner- 2005 Joint Special Operations Command Small Arms Championships and 2003 North Carolina Indoor Conventional Pistol Champion.

 

Brian has earned a BS from Campbell University, and an MS from Central Michigan University. Additionally he has completed executive programs at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and Business School.

 

KEVIN RENUART - Gunsmith 

Kevin received his Gunsmith Certification from Piedmont Community College, where he received formal training in advanced metal finishing, threading, chambering, diagnosis, and repair.

 

Kevin is a U.S. Army and Marine Corps combat veteran with 12 years of combined experience in high explosive ordnance disposal and ammunition management.  As an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team Leader, he led a team responsible for providing render-safe and disposal of chemical, biological, radiological/nuclear, explosive hazards, unexploded ordnance, and improvised explosive devices.  He and his team provided post-blast analysis and forensics in direct support of special operation units stateside and abroad, as well as federal and local public safety agencies at home.

 

As an Ammunition Technician High Explosive Ordnance Specialist, Kevin worked in every facet of the ammunition field, including receiving, storing, issuing, maintaining, and safe handling of ammunition, sophisticated weapon systems, explosives, and toxic chemicals.  His military awards include a USN Unit Commendation, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, and Senior Explosive Ordnance Disposal Badge.

EVIN GALBREATH - Gunsmith

Evin studied gunsmithing at the Sonoran Desert Institute and has an Associate of Science degree in Firearms Technology with a focus on 1911 Advanced Armorer.

Evin served for 15 years in the U.S. Army in many capacities. While serving with the 3rd Infantry Division, Evin was attached to the 3rd Special Forces Group, ODA 3126, Jalrez, Afghanistan, from 2012 to 2013. Evin also served as a team member of a General Officers Personal Security Detachment, Platoon Sergeant responsible for the training and development of Soldiers, accountability, and maintenance of the unit's equipment. He completed two deployments to Afghanistan and one tour in Iraq.

After Evins's military service, he ran a food truck business in New York during the beginning of the pandemic. After two years of operation, he and his family shut the business down to create a new adventure, buy a home in North Carolina, and begin a career as a gunsmith.
